Chaplain's Corner

       It is so cool to be a part of this exciting church family that we call the R.O.C.K.  We're a diverse group of people who are brought together for one common goal -- to honor God with our lives and serve those around us.

       To tell you about us, let me tell you about our name.  Of course, you know that R.O.C.K. stands for Relying on Christ in Kitzingen.  But it is also used to outline a few of our most important values.

We work on building…
Relationships:  Being a U.S. Army soldier, civilian, or family member forward deployed to Germany brings along certain challenges.  One of which is being so far away from family and friends.  The R.O.C.K. works hard to foster the relationships that will sustain faith and family during this time.  Come and join our family!


We share in ministry…
Opportunities:  Every one of us has God-given abilities to share with the church.  This is God's plan and design to strengthen the church.  There are plenty of avenues of service at the R.O.C.K.-- a praise band, teaching ministry, children's ministry and fellowship just to name a few.  Come and share your gift with the church!

Contemporary:  While God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, people are different and worship God in different ways.  We provide a worship service that is relevant for today and an atmosphere which allows us to be who we are.  Come and experience God in a fresh way.

King:  Here at the R.O.C.K. we acknowledge God as the Holy King of His creation and Jesus Christ as His Son.  Everything we do, we do to honor and worship Him because he alone is worthy of our adoration and praise.  Come and experience God's presence with His people.

       It is truly a privilege to pastor this congregation toward those ends.  My family and I have never felt more "at home" in a church and we look forward to what God is going to do in us, and through us, as His people.
